Trina Fritz, CPA, CGA
PARTNER
Trina is a partner at Reschke Fritz LLP Chartered Professional Accountants since its establishment in January 2015. Operating primarily from our Devon office location she also serves the greater community. She greatly enjoys working with her team and clients. Whether the clients are scheduled for an appointment or just stopping in for a quick question or a simple “hello” the office operates as a welcoming place. Conversations are always enjoyed with her clients to learn more about her their business operations, lifestyles and goals so she can assist in achieving those goals with planning strategies.
Trina works with a variety of small to medium businesses in various industries, which definitely include Alberta’s Agriculture and Oil & Gas.
Trina graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Business Administration in 2005 and received her Certified General Accountant designation in 2006. Then in 2015 received the entitlement for Chartered Professional Accountant. She has been working in public practice since 2000.
She lives with her husband and three boys on a beef cattle farm. Out of the office Trina enjoys spending as much time as she can outside. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking and camping and travelling. When her boys allow her to, she loves to tag along with them snowmobiling and quadding. Also she is her boys’ number one fan when it comes to their sporting activities. Spending time with family and friends is also important, doing activities, listening and singing along to music and of course having some good laughs.
Mark Reschke, CPA, CA
PARTNER
Mark enjoys helping people work through their issues. Whether it’s figuring out a tax planning arrangement, solving some accounting/tax problems or simply just chit chatting about life, Mark enjoys visiting with his clients and learning more about them.
“There is no such thing as a silly question” is a common phrase of his, which implies that he wants business owners and individuals to understand tax or accounting concepts relevant to their situation.
Mark works primarily with small to medium sized businesses in an array of different industries.
He graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 and obtained his CA designation in 2006.
Mark and his wife have five children and enjoy camping, hiking, ski/snowboarding and other outdoor activities as a family. With 4 teenage boys and now a brand new daughter born in 2021, pink items have finally been introduced into the house.
Carl Ferguson, CPA, CA
ASSOCIATE
Carl has been working in Devon since 2012 and has served clients from a variety of different industries and helped in working through many problems and issues. He became an Associate in October 2019, and has been serving clients in Devon, Parkland County, and Edmonton.
Easy going and likes to discuss anything from tax to accounting to current events is how Carl describes himself. He likes to build relationships with his clients that spark trust, and is willing to listen and help in any way he can. With a network of professionals we can also gather resources to help in many other areas of your business or personal affairs.
Carl graduated from the University of Alberta in 2010 and received his Chartered Accounting (CA) designation in 2014.
Carl and his wife enjoy going for walks, hiking, playing board games, and spending time with family. Carl likes to go camping and his wife agrees to go to make him happy.
Carl has headed the Reschke Fritz Movember team for the past 6 years, where they have raised donations of about $1,500 for the Movember Foundation of Canada. He believes he can grow a pretty stellar moustache to boot. At the office he also helps with the March Madness and NHL playoff pools to help keep our heads on straight during tax season.
