2022 Tax Season

We’ve wrapped up another tax season effective May 2, 2022 and we wanted to share our thanks to everyone. On behalf of Reschke Fritz LLP, we want to give a big shout out and many thanks to our team for putting in the many and long hours to get us to the end, with smiles on the whole way. We also want to thank our clients who have worked with us and we appreciate and value your continued patronage with us. We enjoyed being able to once again meet many of you in person whereas in the past couple of years that wasn’t as viable of an option.

We had a two day buffer this year since April 30 ended on a weekend, but we always strive to have most of the tax returns done by April 30 each year. There’s still time for self-employed individuals, having until June 15, 2022 to file their tax returns. The tax payment deadline remains as May 2, 2022, but generally no penalties will be assessed if filed before June 15, 2022. This is the same for self-employed GST. Interest is accrued until payment is made.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks again to everyone involved, and we look forward to rest of the upcoming year!
